Our Client, an International Mining Company urgently requires the following position:

SENIOR MATERIAL PROCUREMENT

Qualifications

Education background

Bachelor of Engineering (S1) (Industry/Machine/Civil Engineering, Technique Informatics,

Architects) from a reputable University, with minimum GPA 2.75.

Working experience

Minimum 4 years experience in project scheduling and or material procurement and logistic

Technical Skills

Understand and know about Project scheduling and project management

Understand and know about Materials Management Process

Understand and know about Construction process and techniques

Good/active in English (writing and speaking)

Software Skills

Mandatory able to operate Primavera (preferable having Primavera certificate)

Able to operate Microsoft Offices (Ms.Excel, Ms.Word, Ms.Power Point. MS Access, MS Project)

Have knowledge in Ellipse.

Others

Good team work.

Good communication

Hard worker and high motivation.

Good attitude in attention to detail.

Capability to produce good reporting format.

Willing to work in remote area at remote area

The details scope of works are, but not limited to:

Ensuring arrival of material at the project site according to the date of installation of these materials.

Expedite materials by contacting their late arrival to the buyer, supplier, material logistics group that can be obtained another solution that could restore the material arrival schedule so that in accordance with erection schedule.

Coordinate with the scheduler and read updated schedules and proactively communicate with the construction to determine whether materials on ships or in aircraft will indeed be needed in the period from 1 month ahead. If it turns out this new material will be needed more than 1month, then the delivery instruction for this material after the unloading / lowered from a ship / aircraft to be converted in to Low land construction material yard

Creating a status report published material delivery to all parties concerned with the implementation of capital projects
