University Collaboration Specialist and Quality Assurance Specialist

Chemonics International Inc., a global international development consulting firm (www.chemonics.com), seeks qualified Indonesian education specialists for an anticipated USAID higher education program in Indonesia. This project aims to strengthen the capacity of Indonesian higher education institutions to perform more effectively in financial management, general administration and management, quality assurance, and collaboration with external stakeholders. We are seeking successful candidates in the key areas below:

University Collaboration Specialist:* Past experience managing relationships and developing institutional partnerships between Indonesian universities and regional and international universities or academic bodies. Responsible for providing general support, coordination, and on-the-ground trouble-shooting for these institutional partnerships.

Quality Assurance Specialist:* Past experience with quality assurance (including qualifications, licensing, accreditation, and graduation requirements) at the university level. Proven experience in undertaking activities aimed at enabling higher education institutions to develop quality assurance approaches supportive of the sustained delivery and continuous improvement of quality teaching, research and service, particularly as it relates to ensuring the value and relevance of such programs to external stakeholders (i.e., private and public sector employers).

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years relevant experience

· Prior experience in one or more of the areas outlined above

· Experience working with international donors or organizations preferred

· Interest in working with a multi-cultural, international team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

· Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field preferred (i.e., higher education, education policy, comparative and international education, educational assessment, educational testing and measurement, education curriculum and instruction, educational assessment and evaluation, and/or quality assurance).

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
