In-Country Analyst Indonesia
We are looking for talented individuals to work with us as In-Country Research Analyst – Indonesia. If you have a keen interest in market research, excellent numeracy skills and desire to be at the forefront of providing business intelligence on the dynamics of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries, Euromonitor International wants to hear from you.
THE ROLE
The In-Country Research Analyst is a full-time, home-based position. You must therefore be willing and able to work from home. As an In-Country Research Analyst, you are located in the country where the research is to take place. You will report to one of Euromonitor International’s Research Analysts based in the Singapore office.
In this role, you are responsible for conducting direct research on FMCG industries in Indonesia by:
Visiting stores to gather information on availability of products and their pricing
Collecting and analysing available published materials
Conducting trade interviews – both over-the-phone and face-to-face – with relevant companies to obtain both qualitative and quantitative information
Performing data calculations and analysis, including forecasting future trends and developments
Writing text reports on the industries you have researched
JOB REQUIREMENTS
To succeed as an In-Country Research Analyst, you are someone who boasts the following:
A degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics or related field
A proven track record in primary and secondary research is an added advantage
Superb numeracy and analytical skills
Fluent oral and written English
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Willingness and persistency in conducting interviews
Ability to work independently in a home environment
Ability to organize time well to meet deadlines and project expectations
