Product Development Manager
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for finding opportunities and product development in the marketing of mobile services for corporate, mobile network operators and government entities. Candidate must have skills and understanding in marketing research, sales forecasting, and promotional planning and be able to conceptualize new ideas, research the new ideas, and evaluate them objectively from a market and financial standpoint. The mission is to successful take a product from concept to commercialization.
Handle all product development activities including competitive intelligence, product strategy development, and business case rationalization.
Identify and promote competitive niches in products and new positioning concepts.
Work with functional leaders and be responsible for execution of these components as they relate to product development, business requirement development, implementation planning, and rollout.
Identify and implement product improvement priorities on an on-going basis. Lead or participates in the research of new services and captures requirements specific to application development needs. Lead the process to gather customer requirements.
Provide product knowledge/requirement to the development team. Gather detailed information to be used as input for project documents.
When applicable lead successful product introductions and market test the new products.
Be responsible for the quality of competitive knowledge on our products and the communication to the sales team.
Test new and revised product functionality to ensure that it meets desired needs.
Assist in preparation of presentations, proposals and demonstrations.
Requirements:
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and manuals.
Good project management skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from in-house managers and customers.
Good presentation skills
Minimum of 3 years experience as product development, responsible for (mobile) IT or Telecommunications services
Effectively bilingual English and Indonesian with excellent written and oral skills
