Chemonics International Inc, a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks long and short term expert advisors in development of mobile money for assignments on a potential donor-funded project to build upon current innovations in mobile money and create an enabling environment for mobile money In Indonesia. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of the Indonesian people. The project seeks to expand public service delivery and extend access to financial services through new technologies. The project is anticipated to have the following objectives: boosting nation-wide expansion and rapid adoption of m-money services; creating an enabling environment for m-money; and increasing financial inclusion for broad-based economic growth.
We are looking for specialists with experience in the following areas:
· Development of mobile money
· Administration of conditional cash transfers
· Financial education
· Experience working with financial institutions, including MFIs with a goal of extending financial products to underserved communities.
We are looking for program operations professionals in the following areas:
· M&E Specialist
· Office Manager
· Finance Manager
· Communications Manager
Qualifications:
• Advanced degree from an accredited university in relevant field
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in the development of mobile money for technical specialists.
• Prior experience working on USAID or other donor funded projects preferred
• Experience working with nongovernmental organizations, national and local governments, and the private commercial sector
· Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Fluency in spoken and written English required
