CONSULTANT FOR BASELINE DATA ENTRY & DATA ANALYST

CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit.

CARE Indonesia in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara is currently recruiting the following position:

JOB TITLE : CONSULTANT FOR BASELINE DATA ENTRY & DATA ANALYST
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT : PROGRAM/PfR
REPORTS TO : PROJECT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

The Consultant will provide data entry and analysis associated to survey questionnaire collected from 8 (eight) target villages of PfR program. The questionnaire survey form consists of 300 questions, and sample will be collected from approximately 500 households.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

1. Recruit data entry team in accordance to the needs
2. Coordinate and supervise the data entry team and the data entry process
3. Guarantee data accuracy done by the data entry team
4. Create coding and data tabulation format using statistical software he/she judged to be the most compatible with the project requirement
5. Ensure filing of hard copy of the questionnaires are systematics through out the data entry process, to enable easy access if data verification is required
6. Manage and present survey data into information which will make it easier for data to be read and interpreted.
7. Produce a Database and a Data Analysis Report
8. Disseminate the outcome of his/her activity to CARE & PIKUL PfR Team

QUALIFICATIONS

1) Education: Diploma in Information Technology or other relevant. Higher degree is preferred
2) Experience: Extensive experience with database development and data analysis
3) Specific technical skills: Extensive experience with statistic software (e.g. SPSS). Software compatible with Linux is an advantage
