JAKARTA
1. Health & Nutrition Technical Strengthening Officer
Mercy Corps’ Health & Nutrition Technical Strengthening Officer is mainly accountable for the maintenance and quality assurance of capacity transformation/ strengthening in Hati Kami project in Jakarta. Periodically and on needs-based, this position will support Mercy Corps’ projects with health/ nutrition component outside Jakarta in the same manner.
Qualifications:
- Public Health, Nutrition, Communication, and/or Medicine Graduate;
- Minimum 4 years’ experience of working on breastfeeding issues and/or women’s nutrition in Indonesia;
- Experience in urban health program is critical;
- Proactive (technical) supervisory/ support skills in IYCF, maternal nutrition, and Health Behavior Change;
- Demonstrate comprehension on national and/or global situation and trends on Health & Nutrition of women and/or children;
- Proven knowledge and skills on the applications of adult learning principles;
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as trainer for community and health staff in Indonesia;
- Advanced writing skill is an advantage;
- Proficiency in English verbal and writing is an advantage
