MAIN
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

HK Logistics Pty Ltd (HKL) is the Australian company who work on AusAID
program on strengthening the national and local capacity in disaster management
in Indonesia, and promoting a more disaster resilient region.

The AIFDR aims to reduce the devastating
impacts of natural disasters by “strengthening national and local capacity in
disaster management in Indonesia, and promoting a more disaster resilient
region”.  To support the program and
provide emergency supplies to enable quick disaster response, AIFDR has set
warehouses and procure Emergency relief items (non-food items) in accordance
with BNPB priorities and logistics guidelines.

The
Project Assistant will be responsible for assisting the
Project Manager in running the program and also provide support in financial
administration.

Duties
and responsibility as Project Assistant:

Project Scope:
Ø  Continue to build on strong relationshipswith project stakeholders,HKL, AIFDR, and BNPB asnecessary.
Ø  Provide logistical support for workshops  and attend nominated Provinces as required  under specific
terms of reference.
Ø  Estimate and plan resources needed to achieve project goals.
Ø  Identify and
resolve issues within the project team.
Ø  Proactively
manage changes in project activities.
Ø  Undertaking routine tasks for
the preparation team including photocopying, printing, and making travel
arrangements.
Ø  Ensure the  venue events management are well informed of
requirements

Finance Scope:
Ø  Prepare account payables and make
payments after approval
Ø  Input the
transaction to the accounting system MYOB
Ø  Help to finalize
the closing process for each event
Ø  Other duties as directed by Management

Others:
ØWilling to travel out of town is a must.
ØWilling to work during week end if needed.
