Manager Sales & Marketing


Job Description

PREACQUISITION

Understand client requirements, study purchasing process, liaise internally , study project viability in order to evolve the right strategy & prepare the right bid.

NETWORKING

Liaise & develop strong relations with consultants, industry end users, study market trends policy changes effecting industry in order to identify potential customer & get Alstom listed in vendor list.



QUALITY

Study issue related to poor quality, undertake customer focus programs in order to reduce cost of poor quality and improve response time.



SALES ORDER DATA SHEET

Define in details the project scope, commercial terms & conditions  and hand over details of cost & price to Project Mgr. / Fin in order to execute the project.





BUSINESS STRATEGY

Study installations, lost orders, trends, industry trends and other indicators predict patterns provide feed back to various departments in order to promote business in long/ short & near term future.

Note:

This position shall be on contract basis of 2 years and may get renewed later depending on the business requirement.
Desired Skills & Experience

1. Bachelor in Engineering, Masters in Marketing/ Sales/ Power Management preferred.

2. Minimum 10 years in similar role & in similar organization, Working experience in South East Asia (minimum 5 years) is a pre-requisite, prior experience in the power and industry market for mills is preferred.

3. Must be willing to travel extensively for international business development assignments

4. Interfacing with customers at all levels in their organizations. Working with employees having diverse backgrounds, peers and associates in other areas of the company, corporate and other outside professional contacts requires strong communication skills, clear thinking, analytical and decision making capabilities.

5. Ability to manage multiple technical and commercial priorities and deal with complex customer issues on short notice.

6. Follow direction, comply with company directives and work effectively in a multicultural global team.
