Program Officer - Habitat For Humanity Indonesia

Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit, Christian housing ministry.
We seek to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to
make descent shelter a matter of conscience and action. In Indonesia, Habitat
for Humanity Indonesia as the national foundation currently operates regular
programs across 8 provinces and some disaster response programs.
Habitat for Humanity Indonesia is now seeking some professionals who
have willingness to involve in social work or NGO to fill the following
positions. Ideal candidates should be Indonesian, who are strong qualified
personality with excellent leadership, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is an important prerequisite. The position will be based in Jakarta.


Program Officer
Under limited supervision from Senior Program Officer, The Program
Officer will conduct proposal writing, monitoring and evaluation, and support
fundraisers with program knowledge.
Main
Responsibilities:
- to plan and develop project designs,
- to
design feasibility study on the proposed area & assessment conducted by
branch offices,
- to
write and design concept papers and proposals,
- to support
branches with reporting to donors
- to equip
and support fundraisers with program knowledge and ability to successfully
fund-raise

Qualifications:
- A degree
in development studies or any field study related.
- Around
3 – 5 years relevant work experience in proposal writing or related field.
- Knowledge
and experience in project design and management, practical experience in
project implementation.
- Technical
proposal and writing skills.
- Understand
log frame and budget preparation.
- Cross
cultural sensitivity, showing respect to different cultural norms and adaptable
to different cultural contexts.
- Good skill in personal computer
operation – word processing, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Having experience working in NGO is
preferable
