The Jhpiego Indonesia programs are aimed to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes in Indonesia. We are currently implementing EMAS ( Expanding Maternal & Newborn Survival ) program in Indonesia funded by USAID.

Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Monitoring and Evaluation Manager assist M&E Director in implementation of the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) strategy for the EMAS Program. This includes developing and operating efficient systems of monitoring and evaluation and providing timely and relevant information to the EMAS Programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· M&E Manager Have technical responsibility for monitoring and evaluating the EMAS program including the design or modification of data collation and collation forms, data capture and analysis systems.
· With support M&E Director and M&E Advisor, identify the core information needs of the EMAS program and other key stakeholders.
· Ensure the indicator data are available, which is in-line with EMAS overall strategy and targets.
· Responsible in data collection and data recapitulation from M&E Officer
· Track the project output, outcomes and impact measures of the Program for reporting
· Provide technical assistance to M&E Officer to effectively monitor their activities using simple data collection and collation tools in line with the program’s PMP.
· Contribute to consolidated data indicator reports for program
· Undertake monitoring visits to the various health facilities and district to support implementation of M&E
· Ensure that M&E Officer collected the quality data for the EMAS Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) through conduct data quality checks and identify where adaptations might be needed.
· Develop Intensive communication to M&E Officer to ensure M&E activities at provincial and district levels was carried out correctly
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
· S2 or equivalent experience is required.
· M&E experience and good knowledge of M&E approaches and tools.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong eye for detail.
· Experience of working in a research environment or information-generating context.
· Strong customer service ethos and proactive approach to service provision, as well as the ability to organize partnerships and maintain good relations with key partners.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure, priorities, schedule and balance workloads in the face of conflicting and uneven demands.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
· Ability to travel nationally
