Closing Date: Rolling recruitment, interviews will start in spring/summer 2013. Position
will be filled as soon as suitable candidates are found.
We are working with the world’s newest
international organisation, the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), to help
them find an outstanding Senior Technical Manager to oversee their Operations
in Indonesia.
Reporting to the GGGI Country Manager, you will
provide day to day management of the several components of work of the
Indonesia team, and coordinate the efforts of the individual component Programme
Managers and Programme Officers.
You will be a key focal point within the team for the management of the
Indonesia Programme’s consulting contracts. Other responsibilities include:

Facilitating the
engagement with key government counterparts
·
Driving the ‘hybrid’
teams of each component to achieve their deliverables and outputs
·
Monitoring and evaluating
the performance of team members and providing coaching and development support,
as well as being a key contact point for advice and escalation for problem
solving within the component teams
All applicants must hold exemplary and relevant
academic credentials. Other key skills
and capabilities will include:
·
Consulting contract
management, project cycle management and project quality management experience,
particularly in Indonesia, ideally within the field of green growth,
development, natural resource management and sustainability.
·
Recognized leadership in
developing and implementing economic development policies and strategies on the
ground
·
Demonstrable capacity for
strategic thinking, and facilitating in-depth and effective stakeholder
dialogues both internally and externally, and in cross-sector consultations on
multi-disciplinary issues
·
Experience in Indonesia
developing and fostering strong relationships with key government institutions
(for example, Coordinating Ministry for economic affairs, Ministry of National
Development Planning, Ministry of Finance, etc.);
