Vacancy: Program Translator/Interpreter

Applicants are
invited for two (2) positions of the Program Translator/Interpreter in the DAFF
AIP EID program of the Australian Embassy, Jakarta.  The position is a full time position, on a
one year contract with possibility of 6 months extension, with an immediate
commencement date required.


Desirable qualification:
•            TOEFL or IELTS accreditation;
•            Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and
an excellent command of written and spoken English,
•            Proven experience in the area
of interpretation/translation both written and oral;
•            University graduate in language
or a relevant subject;
•            Experience working within a
capacity development setting preferred; possess an understanding of, and
willingness to promote, cross-cutting issues such as gender and disability;
•            Technical knowledge of
agriculture or animal health preferred;
