ChildFund Indonesia is currently seeking:

Position        :ECD in DRR Project Officer (Code: ECD/DRR)
Reporting to   : Zonal Manager/ECD
specialist (TBD)
Based in       :
Sumba – NTT
Duration        : one year fixed term with renewal, in
total approx 18 months

Summary

Provides
technical assistance in coordinating and implementing the ECD in DRR project,
develops capacity among affiliate with ChildFund Indonesia partners in program
implementation, management, evaluation and promotes networking with program
stakeholders including teachers and local governments.

Key Responsibilities

-  Responsible
in the implementation of ECD in DRR project at the implementation level by
conducting research, identifying project gains/gaps, and development of project
activities
-  In
coordination with ECD specialist provides technical assistance for capacity
building of community organizations and teachers’ project development
-  Provide
onsite visits to project  beneficiaries
to monitor progress, assess program effectiveness and recommend program
modification
-  Ensuring
all trainings are conducted based on the beneficiaries needs
-  Provides
documentation and reports, both finance and project implementation, and ensuring the burn rate in a particular fiscal year is fully achieved

-  Plays
an active role in resource mobilization efforts
-  Liaises
with other child focused organizations and governments for the development of
best practices and leveraging networks.

Qualifications and experience

·         3+
years experiences in working in the human service or social services and/or
with a non profit agency, preferably community organization
·         Strong
experience in ECD
·         Experience
in any of these areas will be a value added: DRR/Child Protection
·         Computer
proficiency in general office software applications (i.e. Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook)
·         Demonstrated
experience with the design, implementation, management and evaluation of
programs preferred
·         Outstanding
written and oral communication skills in English;
·         Good
oral/written communication and organizational skills
·         Must
be able to travel to program locations; where applicable

 Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Social Work or
relevant human services discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience;
