Training Program Assistant

Strengthening Integrity and
Accountability Program-1 (SIAP-1) is a five year program funded by the United
States Agency for International Development implemented under the leadership of
Management Systems International (MSI).


Project Summary:

The objective of SIAP-1 is to contribute to good governance in Indonesia by strengthening integrity and accountability in government – principally at the national level. It will do this by supporting governmental and non-governmental efforts
to strengthen integrity and
accountability.

Scope of the Job:

Training Program Assistant
position is held by an experienced staff whose acquired knowledge and skills
enable him/her to independently undertake diverse and complex work assignments.
Work requires extensive coordination with team members in SIAP-1 to ensure
successful performance of the Strengthening Integrity and
Accountability Program-1 as detailed in the Project Description of the
Cooperative Agreement with USAID.

Responsibilities:
                 

1.     Assist
with the preparation of training plans and its schedule with SIAP-1 Component
Manager and the beneficiary of the program.
2.     Assist the trainers in preparing
all trainings, evaluations, and related documentation well before the
presentation of training courses.
3.     Prepare and process end-of-module
course for participants.
4.     Implement the training program: keep
records of participants’ attendance; copy and distribute reading materials;
prepare and coordinate training facilities.
5.     Prepare the venue of the training,
accommodation, and transportation of the trainers and training participants.
6.     Monitor all budgetary accounts
related to the training events in the projects for their accuracy by updating
expenses/balances.
 
General provisions and limitations:

1.     All final decisions related to
this Project are made by the COP and MSI/HQ responsible and authorized
personnel.
2.     Any communication with USAID is
the authority of the COP and MSI/HQ responsible and authorized personnel.

Qualifications:

1.     Bachelor (S1) degree in relevant
field of work or related studies.
2.     Good
management and administrative skills.
3.     Experience in organizing and implementing
trainings. 
4.     Have
the capacity to work both independently as well as in a team setting.
5.     Willing
to undertake field travel and work under demanding conditions.
6.     Ability
to establish priorities and undertake assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
7.     Ability
to effectively address multiple tasks.
8.     Proficient
in spoken and written English, and in in the use of MS Office Software.

**This is a local position; only Indonesian nationals will be
considered.
