SurfAid International is a nonprofit organization working for healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. With the head office in Medan, the community programs are mainly run in Mentawai and Nias. Currently we are looking for dynamic team players to join us.
LOGISTIC OFFICER
Medan, North Sumatera (Local, Non Accompanied Position)
Reporting to Deputy Country Director- System Support, responsible to provide administration and logistics supports. Areas of work will include: procurement process, transportation and accommodation bookings, assets and inventory management.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree with more than 3 years professional experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Good understanding of administration, procurement and logistic principles
Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor the effective use and safekeeping of fixed assets and financial resources.
Ability to speak English is preferred
SENIOR EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS OFFICER
Mentawai, West Sumatra (Non Local, Non Accompanied Location)
Responsible for Emergency Preparedness strategic program planning with Support Area Field Manager. Supervise Emergency Preparedness Officers in program delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum bachelor degree with at least 2 years experience in implementation and team management for emergency preparedness programs
Good Knowledge and understanding on Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) program
Familiar with creative program delivery or Adult Learning approaches
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS OFFICER
Mentawai, West Sumatra (Local, Non Accompanied Location)
As person in charge of program implementation with communities, Emergency Preparedness Officer will conduct meetings and trainings with community members and other stakeholders.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum bachelor degree from relevant field with at least 1 year experience working in disaster risk reduction program with communities.
Good communication skills and has commitment to build community’s capacities
Familiar with Microsoft office applications
Ability to speak in local Mentawai language is preferred
