Assistant for our RTI Indonesia - SCALING
UP FOR MOST-AT-RISK POPULATION II (SUM II) Project - based in Jakarta.
Program
Background
SCALING UP FOR MOST-AT-RISK POPULATION II (SUM II) is a USAID- funded
program, which provides technical assistance in organizational performance required to scale-up effective,
integrated HIV interventions that lead to substantial and measurable behavior
change among Most-at Risk Populations (MARPs) in targeted locations in
Indonesia. The project is managed by
Training Resources Group, Inc in partnership with RTI International. The organizational performance topics include
accountability; administration; advocacy and partnership; financial system;, good
governance, organizational leadership and management; planning, resource
allocation and mobilization; monitoring and evaluation, networking, policy development. SUM II provides and
monitors small grants to qualified civil society organizations to support the
scale-up of integrated interventions in “hotspots” where there is a high
concentration of one or more MARP and high-risk behavior is prevalent.
ESSENTIAL
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Compile and analyze grantees financial
information, monthly and annual accounts including:
· Bank/account reconciliation
· Journal entries and general ledger operations
· Monthly financial reports including grantees’ expense reports, invoices
and advances
· Check the completeness, accuracy and validity
of financial supporting document
· Check the all financial report data bases
· Scanning of all financial documents and
maintenance of quality for reporting purposes
2. Ensure financial records are maintained in
compliance with USAID policies and procedures
3. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are
met
4. Establish and monitor the implementation and
maintenance of accounting control procedures of grantees.
5. Continuous management and support of budget,
realization and forecast activities
6. Execute transactions and ensure its accuracy
for reporting purposes
7. On regular basis, under direction from Grants
Manager and Finance and Administration Officer review all incoming invoices
8. Assist the Grants Manager and Finance and
Administrative Officer with preparation and coordination of the audit process
9. Arrange and prepare workshop financial and
administration matters.
10. Review
and prepare administrative documents related to Jakarta, Kepulauan Riau and
North Sumatra Provinces
11. Manage
filing of soft and hardcopy financial and administration records
12. Perform
other related finance and administrative tasks as required
RequiredQualifications
1. S-1 degree in Accounting and has minimum two
years of experience performing similar duties as a Grants Assistant.
2. Have knowledge in accounting, finance, and
administration. Experience in auditing
will be preferable.
3. Good command of written and spoken Indonesian
and English.
4. Able to work under pressure and tight
deadlines.
5. High degree of adaptability to varied working
environments and good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
6. Experience in managing
project/accounting/financial management. Experience in project financed by
USAID is an advantage.
7. Good computer skills, including excellent
excel skill, internet and email. Experience work with accounting software will
be an advantage.
