RTI is seeking for SSES Research and Business Development Assistant for our RTI’s Indonesia Regional Office based in Jakarta.
ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities
1. Conduct background research on social policy topics and produce summaries and policy briefs of findings. Products will be used to inform further development of research opportunities.
2. Track new research opportunities and support proposal design and preparation.
3. Assist the SSTD to plan visits for RTI/US senior technical and managerial staff and support their in-country activities.
4. Support RTI research teams to implement research initiatives and projects in Indonesia
RequiredQualifications
a.      Two or more years of professional experience and demonstrated development experience in social policy research support plus a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant social policy, social policy research field, or a Master’s degree.
b.      Knowledge of social sector organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in Indonesia.
c.       Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and strong inter-personal and networking skills. Ability to work effectively with government and non-government stakeholders.
d.       Results-oriented person able to work well in teams as well as independently.
