RFQ 13.384 Translation and Interpretation Services

MSI/SIAP-1: Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program I (SIAP-I) is a five-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Management Systems International (MSI).

Purpose:
This solicitation is being issued in order to identify qualified, capable, and experienced service providers in the area of written translation and oral interpretation services as detailed below. The tasks below are indicative of the types of tasks which the Offeror will be asked to perform. The Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) that MSI/SIAP-1 will issue to the selected Offeror will detail the overall Scope of Work and the terms and conditions. Once in place, individual Call Orders (CO) will be created and sent to the selected Offeror which will also be used to draw funds against the ceiling amount for the overall BPA. The COs may be for written translation services only or for oral interpretation services at scheduled events only; or a combination of the two. Note that the service provider should have certified/sworn interpreters and translators for the Call Orders issued by SIAP-1.

Indicative Tasks to be performed:

* Simultaneous Interpretation: Bahasa Indonesia into English or English into Bahasa Indonesia

* Consecutive Interpretation: Bahasa Indonesia into English or English into Bahasa Indonesia

* Written Translation of Word documents: Bahasa Indonesia into English or English into Bahasa Indonesia

* Written Translation of PowerPoint documents: Bahasa Indonesia into English or English into Bahasa Indonesia

SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS
Quotations are to be submitted to procurement@msi-siap.com<mailto:procurement@msi-siap.com> with cc to jfreer@msi-inc.com<mailto:jfreer@msi-inc.com> via e-mail before 5:00pm Jakarta time on 28 August 2013. All quotations submitted via e-mail must state in the subject line "RFQ No. 605700.01.13.384, BID DOCUMENTS: Do not open before 28 August, 2013. Quotations received after 5:00pm Jakarta time on the due date may not be considered.
