Jakarta, Indonesia – AusAID funded Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF)



PRSF is a joint facility between AusAID and the Government of Indonesia to improve the quality of policy advice for poverty programs in Indonesia.



GRM International is the Managing Contractor contracted by AusAID to manage the implementation of PRSF.



We are seeking a Technical Officer for the 2014-2019 Medium Term Development Plan (MTDP) Development to assist the Directorate of Social Protection and Welfare, Bappenas, in conducting the background study on Indonesia’s social protection and welfare policies, to support the writing process of the Social Protection section of the MTDP 2014-2019.



Essential Criteria:

    Must have an undergraduate degree on social science, preferably on Sociology, from reputable university with an acceptable level of GPA (at least 3.00 of 4.00).
    Must have a strong interest on social-related issues.
    Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in conducting social research and research related activities and writing a social research report and/or a public document in Bahasa Indonesia. 
    He/she should be familiar with social research and evaluation methods and able to design and conduct a social research.
    He/she should have good writing ability in Bahasa Indonesia, especially for research report and public document writing.
    Proven record of strong client relations, with ability to work in sensitive situations, challenging policy environments, and within GoI institutions / ministries; demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
    Excellent presentational and writing skills are required.
    Excellent oral and writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English are desirable.
