Vacancy with KNCV Tuberculosis

KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation (KNCV)is a leading
non-governmental organization working in Global Tuberculosis (TB) Control. KNCV
Tuberculosis Foundation has been active in TB control for over one hundred
years both in the national and international context. As a non-profit
organization KNCV is active in over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Latin
America and Asia. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is dependent on subsidies from
Government and other sources, as well as private contributions through fundraising.
The central office is located in The Hague, The Netherlands.


TB
CARE I
The
Tuberculosis Coalition for Technical Assistance (TBCTA) carries out the USAID
funded TB CARE I project. The objective is to “Decrease morbidity and mortality
by increasing case detection and treatment success of pulmonary TB patients in
USAID priority countries”.  KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is the Prime
Partner of TB CARE I.

To
support the organization on its 4th year of TBCARE I project
implementation, KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation (KNCV) is currently looking for:

SENIOR
TECHNICAL OFFICER – PROGRAMMATICMANAGEMENT OFDRUG
RESISTANTTUBERCULOSIS (Code: 001)
Responsibilities:
Lead PMDT team in providing
technical assistance to the National Tuberculosis Program in preparation and
implementation of PMDT (Programmatic Management of Drug resistant Tuberculosis)
nationally.

TECHNICAL
OFFICER – PROGRAMMATICMANAGEMENT OFDRUG
RESISTANTTUBERCULOSIS (CODE: 002)
Responsibilities:
To provide technical
assistance to the National Tuberculosis Program in preparation and
implementation of PMDT (Programmatic Management of Drug resistant Tuberculosis)
in targeted sites.

TECHNICAL
OFFICER – PUBLICPRIVATEMIX (2 Positions) (CODE: 003)
Responsibilities:
Technical Officer (PPM) will be responsible
to link public and private hospitals in his/her respective area into the NTP
through adoption of the national DOTS strategy; and create a private-public TB
control network (including referral links, uniform recording and reporting
system, laboratory network with quality assurance).

Qualification:
·         Medical
Doctor, preferably with hospital back ground

Competencies:
·         Minimum 5 year working experience in
Public health/ medical science or management (for job code 001)
·         Minimum 2 year working experience in
Public health/ medical science or management (for job code 002 & 003)
·         Excellence communication and negotiation skills
·         Knowledge of Project Management and TB
program
·         Thorough knowledge of MS Office
·         People Skills, Team Player
·         Good English
