Position                               : Social Media Consultants (3 positions)

Languages Required       : English and Indonesia

Period of Performance : September to December 2013

Duration of Contract      : Approximately 40 days





BACKGROUND



Our beneficiary, one of Indonesia State Agency is using social media platforms to communicate to the public. As part of the strengthening the capacity of the agency in using social media, MSI seeks the expertise of a consultant to setup a Social Media strategy and its infrastructure as needed.



Objectives

1.    Communicate Social Media as an essential and contemporary communication channel.

2.    Utilize Social Media platforms to communicate to the public.

3.    Reach out to a younger audience on the internet and convey a positive image of the agency and its people of concern.


Tasks and Deliverables

1.    Develop Social Media presence

    Explore ways to use Website, Facebook and Twitter as a swift external communication channel.

b.      Building ‘content plan’ for Twitter and Facebook accounts.

c.       Building, designing, and managing website.

2.    Build the capacity of staff to utilize Social Media by giving assistance in:

a.    Setup a social media forum

b.    Managing and posting content to Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube accounts.

3.       Producing specific contents:

a.       Text content

b.      Info-graphic

4.       Arrange and assisting offline event with social media activists.

5.       Conducting social media monitoring.



Qualifications:

·         Bachelor (S1) degree in relevant field of work or related studies

·         Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Social Media,

·         Experienced in maintaining network with civil service organization and social media communities.

·         Ability to share knowledge and experiences about important aspects on social media implementation.
