Background and Objectives
Anti Corruption Film Festival (ACFFest) 2013 is a film festival in Indonesia that have aims to improve public understanding about anti-corruption and arouse awareness about corruption effects and benefits from anti-corruption movement, cultivate anti-corruption behavior, encourage public participation to take part in eradication of corruption, also in order to build a campaign, education and anti-corruption movement through film.
ACFFest 2013 will be implemented simultaneously on a number of cities in Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Bandung, Padang Panjang, Yogyakarta, Malang, Balikpapan and Palu. In the first year of implementation, ACFFest 2013 will be held on 8 – 12 December 2013 in order to celebrate International Anti-corruption Day. ACFFest 2013 is an idel event for filmmakers, student, community and public to spread their effort related with value of honesty, integrity and transparency, also to against corruption as the part of their contribution in social and state life by share informations and experiences in their respective fields, making discussion forums, also support and spread creative ideas related to anti-corruption spirit with film as the media of introduction.
ACFFest 2013 open up greater opportunities for the community and fillmmakers throughout Indonesia to submit their film related with honesty, integrity and transparency to against corruption produced from 1st January 2000 until 22nd November 2013. Every film category that included in competition will be selected by independent judges team such as director, film figure and film expert in each field. Beside film competition, in ACFFest 2013 will be held masterclass with film director in Indonesia, film screening and mobile theater.
The film festival communication consultant (advisor) position will be held by an experienced consultant to share and suggest implementation of ACFFest 2013 with the team leader and programmer of film festival.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
· Advise the film festival team leader and programmer to establish ACFFest 2013 communication plan and its implementation (7 days).
· Develop the communication and promotion plan including the media strategy and promotion tools with film festival team leader and programmer for ACFFest 2013 (4 days).
· Assist/ support the ACFFest 2013 pre-event (promotion stage) implementation (2 days).
· Give suggestions needed for the whole program of ACFFest 2013 related with the communication and promotion aspect (5 days).
· Give advises to SIAP1 about movie distribution strategy which produced by SIAP1 (2 days)
Requirements:
· Minimum relevant experience in some program related with film production and/or film festival.
· Have a good comminication skill and expertise in some film events.
· Ability to establish priorities in order to advising the team leader and programmer about film festival implementation.
· Ability to share knowledge and experiences about important aspects on film festival implementation.
· Have good networking with some film communities and filmmaker.
