Program Description
The Fishing & Living™ initiative is made possible through the collaboration of  Anova Food, LLC, USAID, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), governments at all levels from local through national, a host of other entities and individuals on-site and working in the communities, and of course, the fishermen themselves.

The Fishing & Living™ initiative strives to achieve two goals: promoting sustainable fisheries through improved fishing practice and providing enhanced living conditions for the communities engaged in the industry.
SUMMARY
The Operation Manager (OM) will be responsible for operational and administrative activities of Fishing and Living Program and the smoothness of FL day to day operations.  OM also will working together with Finance team to advise financial matters.  Reporting to the Director, with primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's day to day activities and sometimes managing a project.
Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, finances and practices. Duties:
1.              (Coordination and supervision) Oversees the FL field offices;
2.              (coordination and supervision) Monitoring and evaluates field offices operations;
3.              (Coordination and supervision) Facilitate coordination and communication between projects and management;
4.              (HR) Administering FL human resources supported by FL administrator (coordinates the team operations and activities, staff mobilization, timesheets, work plan, etc);
5.              (Grants management) Managing grantor contracts and reimbursement requests (making sure the reports etc. to donors are meeting their requirements and due dates);
6.              (Strategic input) Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team based on information from M&E Officer;
7.              (Communication) Managing the FL information database and information flow;
8.              (Best Practices) Develop the training material and activities to ensure the best deliverables in every FL projects;
9.              (Best Practices) Developing the program’s operational management guidelines;
10.          (Finance) Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve efficiency.  Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory – jointly with Management team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
·         Bachelor's Degree or equivalent  with 3-5 years related experience preferably in fishery;
·         3-5 years of finance and operations management experience with international projects;
·         Experience working with USAID funded projects preferred;
·         Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices;
·         Successful experience working in a diverse, face-paced environment;
·         Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, advanced skills in Excel and Quickbooks preferred;
·         Excellent written and oral communication skills;
·         Fluency in Bahasa Indonesian and English required.
