Re-advertisement: MCA-Indonesia Vacancy: Deputy Executive Director, Programs


The United States of America acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia have entered into a US$ 600 millions Compact grant agreement aimed at poverty reduction through economic growth in Indonesia. The national trustee institution responsible to implement the Compact Grant is Millennium Challenge Account-Indonesia (MCA-Indonesia), which operates under the direction of MCA-Indonesia’s Board of Trustees (Majelis Wali Amanat).
 
 
 
The Compact consists of three main projects: the Green Prosperity; the Community-Based Health and Nutrition to Reduce Stunting; and the Procurement Modernization. In addition to the main projects there are three cross-cutting sectors namely  Social and Gender Assessment (SGA), Environment and Social Performance (ESP), and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). MCA-Indonesia is implementing these projects in 5 years period–  from April 2013 until March 2018.

 
 
MCA-Indonesia is inviting high caliber candidates who are ready to take on new challenges to apply for the Deputy Executive Director, Programs.
 
As a member of MCA–Indonesia’s Senior Management Team, the Deputy Executive Director for Programs will be responsible to lead day-to-day management of MCA-Indonesia, provide guidance and support to Executive Director on the execution of Compact projects and cross-cutting sector activities, and to ensure sound coordination and project management in achieving Compact target. In conjunction with the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director, Operations Support, the incumbent will ensure that appropriate resources, and MCA-Indonesia internal policies, are aligned with the achievement of work plans within agreed-upon time lines and budgets.
