Vacant Position in TFT Indonesia

TFT is a global non-profit organization that helps companies and communities deliver Responsible Products (see www.tft-forests.org for more details). We act on the ground in forests, farms and factories to help create products that respect the environment and improve people's lives. The position is full-time and based in either TFT’s Jakarta or Semarang office with frequent travel required. To support our projects to deliver Responsible Products, we are urgently seeking a qualified, hardworking and motivated person to fulfill position as follow:

PALM OIL PROGRAM MANAGER (POPM)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Assessment of palm oil supply chain from the plantation to the refinery.
·         Clear reports submitted on time, written in professional business language and requiring minimum editing before submitting to clients.
·         Strong rapport and strategic collaboration with TFT palm oil program staffs.
·         System for maintaining all information related to TFT Member suppliers.
·         Regular updates related to certification requirements’

REQUIREMENT                                     

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to understand technical environmental requirements
• Ability to work with businesses on supply chain and certification issues
• Bachelor degree or higher in Natural Resource, Agriculture or Business-related fields
• Minimum eight years professional work experience in natural resource management, preferably within a palm oil company
• Understand environmental and social issues related to palm oil production
• Demonstrate ability to understand technical, environmental and social requirements

·         Excellent knowledge of MS Office program.

SOCIAL SPECIALIST (SS)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Providing thorough analysis and recommendation for TFT and Clients in creating strong Social Management Programs for their companies

·         Assessing companies’ labor standards, especially in regard to worker right, health & safety, ILO Convention and gender equality

·         Assessing company procedures for securing land from local people, or entering into join management agreements against the principles of Free, Prior, Informed Consent (FPIC)

·         Training TFT Clients in how to do Social Impact Assessment

·         Conduct social/conflict mapping in various TFT project sites.

·         Develop and implement plans for TFT and clients to settle conflicts in various TFT project sites.

·         Facilitating conflict resolution processes in various TFT project sites.

·         Training TFT Clients in how to set up systems for conflict prevention and resolution

·         Training TFT Clients in how to negotiate with local people in such a way that ensures Free, Prior, Informed Consent (FPIC)

·         Maintain good communications and relations with clients and various respected stakeholders, such as NGOs in Indonesia.

·         Writing Reports for internal and external audiences on work done related to Conflict Management and/or Social Standards

·         Preparing Proposals related to TFT Social Management Work for Business and Donor clients

REQUIREMENT

• Fluent in English and Bahasa.

• Master or Bachelor degree in related fields
• Minimum 4 years in occupational working experience.
• Understand environmental and social issues related to palm oil production

GROUP ASSISTANT (GA)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Arranging schedule of routine activities Group Manager.
·         Preparing report for any activities of Group Manager regarding of project activities in scientific template.
·         Preparing report for external customer such journalistic and client projects.
·         Systematically for maintaining all information related to TFT Member in Indonesia and SE Asia.

REQUIREMENT

• Fluent in English and Bahasa.
• Have good professional appearance
• Strong writing skill.
• Excellent time management skill
• Ability to fast adaptation in technical and environmental requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in related fields
• Minimum 8 years professional working experience in related fields
• Demonstrate ability to do multitasking performance.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office program.

ENVIRONMENT HEALTH AND SAFETY SPECIALIST (EHS)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Develop, monitor and evaluate H & S program in both sector internal and clients.
·         Arrangging Development, monitoring and evaluate in Human Resources aspect and Social-Environment  program for mills and any other field related to HSE.
·         Prepare H & S training framework, moduls and evaluation tools for internal and clients
·         Prepare strategic trainings system and any other forms in terms of technical supports to clients’ base on H & S, Human resources, Social-Environment.
·         Evaluate in detail of all H & S programs, to provide any recommendations needs for further improvement.
·         Report to management regarding the HSE programs monthly.

REQUIREMENT

SOCIAL ADVISOR (SA)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Providing thorough analysis and recommendation for TFT and Clients in creating strong Social Management Programs for their companies

·         Providing strategic analysis for client activities for creating strong Social Management Program.

·         Assessing companies’ labor standards, especially in regard to worker right, health & safety, ILO Convention and gender equality.

·         Assessing company procedures for securing land from local people, or entering into joint management agreements against the principles of Free, Prior, Informed Consent (FPIC)

·         Providing module for strategic management to train client in basic conflict resolution and negotiate with local people.

·         Develop and implement all of blue print on TFT standard and clients to settle conflicts in various TFT project sites.

·         Maintain good communications and relations between TFT and clients and any various respected stakeholders, such as NGOs in Indonesia.

·         Writing Reports for internal and external audiences related to Conflict Management and or Social Standards

·         Preparing Proposals related to TFT Social Management Work for Business and Donor clients

SENIOR PRODUCT ASSURANCE (SPAO)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Provide strategic guidance plan  to reach client and management trust.
·         Prepare blue print to reach satisfaction project.
·         Supervise of monitoring and evaluating system at clients (covering COC, supply chain, risk identification, supplier evaluation and tracking system)
·         Develop and improving in specific measurement related to CoC, tracking system, supplier evaluation and supply chain management.
·         Prepare training management and other forms of technical supports to clients related to CoC, supply chain management, tracking system Etc
·         Analyze effectiveness of system in client activities
·         Provide Comprehensive report to internal management TFT and Client regarding activities has been conducted to.

REQUIREMENT

·         Bachelor degree in related field

·         Have min 7 years’ Experience on processing (mill) for pulp & paper and others wood factory (plywood, furniture, MDF etc)

·         Experience on conducted mill/factory to CoC certification (FSC, PEFC, SVLK and others)

·         Has an experience on planning cycle (PDCA cycle)

·         Has an experience working in the field (forest, mining, factory etc)

·         Has a deep understanding on supply chain risk identification and mapping

PRODUCT ASSURANCE OFFICER (PAO)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Conduct Monitoring and evaluating existing system at clients (covering COC, supply chain, risk identification, supplier evaluation, tracking system)
·         Propose Develop and improving to Sr Product assurance related to CoC, tracking system, supplier evaluation and supply chain management.
·         Conduct trainings and other forms of technical supports to clients related to CoC, supply chain management, tracking system etc
·         Analyzing the effectiveness of surface system at client.
·         Prepare External and internal reporting of recent and future activities

REQUIREMENT

·         Bachelor degree in related field

·         Have min 4 year experiences handling related field

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING OFFICER(FAO)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Report to FA Manager regarding the finances of Setlement.

·         Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.

·         Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs

·         Compute taxes owed for employee and any supplier transaction and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.

·         Appraise, evaluate, and inventory real property and equipment, recording information such as the description, value and location of property including depriciation of equipment during project settlement.

REQUIREMENT

·         Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
·         Strong reporting skills
·         Ability to understand financial statement, Taxes.
·         Ability to work with businesses on supply chain and certification issues
·         Diploma or bachelor degree in accounting.
·         Minimum 3 years professional work experience in accounting field.
·         Demonstrate ability to understand and implemented accounting and financial policy.
·         Excellent knowledge of MS Office program.

BIODIVERSITY SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Prepare blue print for each project and combine with any resources to have optimum output.
·         Prepare strategic movement with all stakeholder to reach succession on project.
·         Prepare project framework according to TFT indonesia action plan and goals.
·         Prepare and Conduct training for client and internal TFT to reach international standard.
·         Assesing Biodiversity system function at client and prepare for any improvement needed.
·         Conduct HCV system studies in sites and implement for mentoring to proceed the system has been build.
·         Prepare report for internal and external audiences base on project.

REQUIREMENT

·         Fluent in English and Bahasa.
·         Bachelor or Master Degree in any major.
·         Minimum 7 Years working experience handling biodiversity specially forests, farms, mills and palm oil estate management.
·         Deep understanding in Conservation Planning and any adequate knowledge of HCV.
·         Demonstrate strong Statistical analysis and GIS system.
·         Have good knowledge in handling certification of forests, farms, mills and palm oil estate management.
·         Have good knowledge in law and regulation of Natural Resources.
·         Work independently with high definition speed of working and analise
