Health Promotion Specialist Bima, West Nusa Tenggara with SurfAid International

SurfAid International is a nonprofit organization working for healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. With the head office in Medan, the community programs are implemented in Mentawai, Nias, Bima and Sumba. SurfAid works closely with the communities and government to improve communities' capacity on emergency preparedness and their ability to respond to health issues, including water and sanitation.

Currently we are looking for a dynamic team player to join us for our new program in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara.

HEALTH PROMOTION SPECIALIST

Based in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. The positon is responsible for implementing the Mother and Child Health (SIMBO) program in Bima.

Minimum requirements :

·         Bachelor degree in Public Health or Community Development with 3 years of relevant work experience

·         At least 2 years experience of developing material for Mother and Child Health programs.

·         Strong communication and facilitation skills with experience of teaching peers and communities

·         Sensitivity to the needs and priorities of the community.

·         Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet)
