World Vision Indonesia partners with local humanitarian foundation Wahana Visi Indonesia to implement its programs in more than 40 Program Offices across 9 provinces. World Vision has been working in Indonesia for more than 50 years and focusing programming effort on health, education and economic development across transformational development, humanitarian emergency affairs and advocacy ministries. We are also part of an active NGO consortium in the areas of advocacy, child protection, health, community empowerment and disaster management.

World Vision Indonesia is currently seeking the following position :

Market Development Specialist   (Code: MDS) 

Location : Jakarta

Major Roles:

Market Development Specialist is responsible to assist the Economic Development Team to implement local economic development initiatives with poor communities. Key duties will include; assessing local markets, identifying key players, opportunities and constraints, conducting value chain and sub-sector analysis,  support Area Development Programs (ADP)  for develop market opportunities and business plan, develop market information at all ADP formulating innovative market hypothetical that would improve local economic activity and support World Vision local communities to develop initiatives in light of market assessments.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business Development or Related Fields 

- Min. 3-5  years working experience in Market Survey, Business Plan ad Economic Development 

- Good understanding of market development projects and methods

- Fluent in English 

- Good analytical thinking and creative
