SurfAid International is a non-profit
organization working for healthy and resilient communities in remote areas
connected to us through surfing. With the head office in Medan, the community
programs are implemented in Mentawai, Nias, Tello, pulau Banyak and
Bima.
WATSAN ENGINEER-SIMBOm BIMA (3 months)
A Temporary Watsan Engineer is needed for 3 months to support WatSan program activities in Bima. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Watsan Engineer will work with the Health Promotion Officer, community members and local officials to ensure watsan project activities are done according to best practice, schedule and SurfAid internal policies and procedures. The Watsan Engineer also provides Provide technical assistance (supervision, coaching, mentoring) on constructing water facilities with communities.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Civil Engineer with minimum 3 years’
experience in Watsan/ WASH projects with
Excellent communication and negotiation
skills
Good understanding of development programs
principles and working with communities
Has good sense of team work and cultural
sensitivity
Flexible to travel and stay in Bima and
project location
