EED & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

CARE International Indonesia  in Head Quarter-Jakarta  is currently recruiting the following position for its project:
JOB TITLE				:	EED & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT				:	PROGRAM/EED
REPORTS TO				:	COUNTRY DIRECTOR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS   1.        Leading the implementation and providing technical budget and results oversight for economic development projects under CARE International Indonesia 2.       Leading vertical and horizontal coordination (including reporting) of EED Operation within the organization structure of CARE Indonesia. 3.       Leading new initiatives of value chain strengthening projects under CARE International Indonesia. 4.       Strategizing the operation of EED either to support Program Strategy Indonesia or to explore potential expansion of the program (either through collaborating with other projects of CARE Indonesia or partnering with third parties). 5.        Contributing to proposal development and identification of project opportunities aligned with CARE vision and mission, particularly the ones that related to economic development. 6.       Participating in Senior Management Team of CARE Indonesia and representing CARE in networking within CARE Indonesia or with external stakeholders. 7.        Supervising team work of EED unit and providing technical expertise to other projects units under CARE Indonesia, in the area of economic development that including livelihoods, value chain development and access to market.  8.       Researching, in line with CARE vision and mission, potential opportunities available to CARE and analyzing these and recommending go/no go to Country Director. 9.       Maintaining a pipeline of current and potential projects for CARE. 10.     Other tasks assigned by Country Director or corresponding Senior Management Team of CARE.     SUPERVISES

QUALIFICATIONS   1)          Education:    Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Economic Development Studies, Social Economy Studies, at or related field.   2)         Experience: a)       Solid knowledge and experience in project management for at least 8 years including monitoring and evaluation. b)      Proven leadership skills and experience in staff supervision. c)       Experience in economic development sector as manager, consultant, designer or practitioner for minimum of 8 years (leading economic development program is preferable). d)      Experience engaging in business development activities for at least 5 years. e)      Active in networking with various International and Local NGOs and with donors either in partnerships or in collaborating activities f)        At least 5 years experiences in working with international donors and the private sector. g)       Proven experience in concept project/program proposal development and working with international donors and private sector.   3)          Required technical skills: a)       Marketing Skills. b)      Proposal Writing Skills. c)       Leadership Skills. d)      Research Skills. e)      Presentation Skills. f)        Outstanding English Language Skill (verbal and written). g)       Excellent of Computer Skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point (Microsoft Office)
