Yayasan AMURT (Ananda Marga
Universal Relief Team) Indonesia is a non-profit NGO with non-formal affiliation
with a network of 34 AMURT chapters worldwide.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the poor and
disadvantaged people and those affected by calamity and conflict. We encourage and enable individuals and
communities to harness their own resources for securing the basic necessities
of life and to gain greater economic, social and spiritual fulfillment, while
honouring their customs, language and religious beliefs.
Previous humanitarian and
developmental programs in Indonesia include those in Aceh (Dec 2004-2007),
Yogyakarta (2006-2008), Bengkulu (2007-2008), Padang (2009-2013). Currently, AMURT Indonesia is focused on a
5-year Early Childhood Teacher Training project in Central Java.
I. Areas of
Responsibility:
1. 1. Project Administration
o Set
up & implement the necessary systems to manage project operations in the
areas of:
§ finance
§ human
resources
§ operational
policies & procedures
§ logistics
§ procurement
§ project
performance

2. Organisational Structure and Capacity
Building
o
Strengthen the organizational structure
in terms of legal status, labour law compliance, staff training, etc
o
Increase organizational capacity by
developing appropriate systems in
§ Administrative
Management
§ Financial
Management
§ Human
Resources Management

3. Any additional tasks put
forward by AMURT Indonesia Management in order to conduct and promote AMURT’s
work in Indonesia.
II. Qualification, Skills, Knowledge, Experience
University Degree in
Finance, Accounting or Related Field
Minimum 2 years’
relevant professional experience
Possess suitable skills in Word, Excel, Email, Powerpoint, accounting & financial software – other computer skills an asset
Be honest, responsible,
self-motivated and able to take initiative as necessary and appropriate
Possess good
communications skills, good interpersonal and facilitation skills, patience,
diplomacy and a willingness to listen and respect others
Possess ability to work
with all players and stakeholders – all levels of government officials,
beneficiaries, local parties and international parties
Demonstrate ability to
work as part of a team as well as individually
Possess adequate skills
in spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia & English – local Javanese dialect
an asset
