Background
The
Australia Indonesia
Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets in
Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA) is an ambitious new rural development program
which aims to contribute to a 30%, or more, increase in net incomes for
1,000,000 poor rural female and male farmers, 300,000 of which will be
reached by June 2017.
The role:
Results Measurement Coordinator will be responsible to:
· Assist
the Results Measurement Manager to set up and operationalise the
monitoring and result measurement system of the programme based on
guidelines following the DCED standards for results measurement;
· Be responsible for assuring the quality of the monitoring system of a selected
number of sectors and interventions at all levels of the result chain;
· Support the Sector Portfolio team (sector and intervention coordinators) and Business Enabling Environment team
in their regular monitoring tasks (articulating result chains and
respective indicators for measurement; identify, quantify and verify
milestones and targets; developing monitoring plans; collecting data;
analysing the result, learning, planning and reporting) to enhance
appropriate decision making and learning
processes;
· Use
the MRM system to aggregate the result from the different interventions
within a sector and across sectors and support the sector teams to make
informed decisions using the outcome of the aggregation;
· Support
the RM Manager in building the capacity of the portfolio team to apply
the DCED standards for results measurement in designing and implementing
the interventions;
· Support the RM Manager in designing
and conducting qualitative and quantitative research and wherever
possible design and lead research initiatives, ensuring proper use of
research tools and methods, and assist sector team with
research design and analysis where necessary;
Selection criteria:
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
· 2 to 3 years “working knowledge” and strong skills and experience in conducting research and surveys (both quantitative and qualitative) with relevant educational background
· Proficiency in use of excel for analysis and preferably experience with mobile data collection
· Meticulous and detail oriented, able to work under own initiative and drive to complete tasks with little direct supervision
· Strong analytical skills
· Good written and verbal skills
