The International Economic Growth Division manages

Abt Associates seeks a Monitoring & Evaluation
Specialist for an anticipated USAID-funded program in Indonesia. The
objective of the program is to improve climate and disaster resilience
in Indonesia working at national, provincial and
local levels, and working directly with communities, local
organizations and the private sector. The program will focus on
building capacity for integrating disaster risk reduction and climate
adaptation into development planning.
Desired skills and experience
· Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation of donor-funded projects in South East Asia required, Indonesia experience preferred. Experience with climate change adaptation or disaster risk reduction projects strongly preferred.
· Experience in knowledge sharing with government stakeholders desired.
· Demonstrated ability to work and coordinate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including national and local governments, civil society organizations, private sector representatives and local communities.
· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to manage high-level relationships and motivate subordinates across large geographies
· Fluency in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia preferred.
