Chemonics International, a leading international development consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks qualified candidates to hire as a Short-term (ST) Database Design on its project entitled Program Representasi (ProRep). ProRep is a USAID-supported project designed to help civil society organizations (CSOs), public policy research centers and other institutions become more representative, effective and responsive to citizens’ needs. The project initiated in April 2011 and is expected to last until April 2015 or April 2016. For further information on the program, please visitwww.representasiefektif.org. Overall requirements:
Provide information for overall ProRep program M&E allowing ProRep to track changes in key indicators, as well as indicator contributions from individuals or groups of grantees or partners and over selected time periods. Primary responsibilities include:
1. 1. The database is to be organized around activities (e.g. training events) or achievements (e.g.
policies supported). Each activity or achievement should be linked to a relevant indicator
2. The database should provide a report template for quarterly and annual reports, aggregating information for each indicator during the relevant reporting period.
3. The database should facilitate simple creation of customized reports or queries, for example, providing information on the number of achievements for a selected indicator from a given Province during a selected reporting period.
4. The database must be flexible, easy to be updated or expanded
5. The database should facilitate different user levels, including some with permission to input
data and some users who only have permission to create and view queries and reports.
6. We would also like the database to facilitate simple generation of maps showing indicator
achievement by region for a selected time period or mapping the location of all activities over a selected time period.
