scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional
activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development
initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and enterprise &
economic development.

JOB SUMMARY
Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement
(PACE) is a program that adopts the global goal to create a positive change
of behavior of women workers. Program Manager Assistant will work closely
with the Program Manager and EED Manager in implementing the project,
mentoring regular training, and monitoring the performance of the project.
|
|
RESPONSIBILITIES AND
TASKS
In principle, the Project Manager Assistant’s responsibilities are:
- a) Mastering the knowledge of P.A.C.E. Module either for P.A.C.E.
Education Project or P.A.C.E. in Community
- b) Facilitating the transfer knowledge of P.A.C.E. Module to
beneficiaries either through training or coaching or mentoring (including
consultancy)
- c) Facilitating the learning and practicing of training techniques to new
trainers (as the main activity of current program is TOT), among others,
delivering module using adult learning approach
- d) Assisting Project Manager in organizing the Programs and measuring the
impact of the Program (monitoring and evaluation).
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Project Manager
Assistant will be plotted too to support other EED projects within CARE
Indonesia. She/he shall be resource person for the overall CARE program
operation. In other words, she/he shall leverage or give added value to CARE
as organization. For example, she/he supports ADVANCE Project that also
includes life skill development for the farmers in Nusa Tenggara Timur as its
milestone, she/he might be asked to work with the ADVANCE team under the
approval of Program Manager (to ensure her/his involvement does not
jeopardize the needs of PACE Program).

QUALIFICATIONS
|
|
Education
|
|
|
University degree in communication, management,
marketing or social studies.
|
|
|
Experience
|
|
|
a) A minimum of 6 years working in non-governmental organization and/or
consulting company;
b) A minimum of 6 years’ experience in facilitating trainings and
training of trainers for community empowerment.
|
|
|
Specific technical skills
|
|
|
a) Have extensive experience in facilitating self-competency improvement,
particularly for women;
b) Understand gender issue and gender-sensitive approach in the
programming;
c) Willingness to spend a considerable amount of time in the field
including travel and working during the week end;
d) Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
in a cross cultural environment.
