PLAN INDONESIA - Nutrition Project Senior Officer ( Dompu Based )

Due to organizational new structure,  Plan Indonesia is looking for a dynamic Indonesian national to fill the position of:
 
Nutrition Project Senior Officer (NPSO) Dompu Based
 
Job Purpose :
 
Assist Nutrition Project Supervisor in managing project specifically in Community Managed Nutrition Project in Sub District & Village level in order to implement Plan International Program in reducing number of children with under nutrition

Typical Responsibilities - Key End Results of Position:
 
R.1         Planning
 
T.1. In collaboration with CTA, facilitate community program planning as the technical resource person for nutrition
T.2. In under supervision Nutrition Project Officer, develop detail work plan per 1 month
                       
R.2      Implementation
 
T.1. Organize all activities (e.g. training) on the sub district and village level
T.2. Escort cadres for training implementation
T.3. Support for strengthening of Pokjanal on sub district level and Pokja Posyandu on Village level together with CTA
T.4. Coaching to CTA for nutrition
T.5. Assisting cadres and NAKES in implementing activities
T.6. Build partnership, advocation and coordination with other parties including local government, other NGOs, industry, etc in to thrive overall program of CMNP in the sub district and village level
 
R.3.                  Monitoring and Evaluation
 
T.1 Monitor and support for CMNP activities in the village and prepare for the monthly activities report
 
R.4.        Administration
T.1. Responsible for CMNP administration and budgeting

Knowledge, Skills, Behaviors, and Experience Required to Achieve Role’s Objectives:
Gained through education, training, & experience
 
Education:
Diploma 3rd in Health (preferred from nutrient department)
 
Knowledge, Skills and demonstrated Behaviour: Core and Functional Competencies required for this job with level (i.e. proficient, knowledgeable or aware)
 
Core competencies:
(Set of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for all Plan- Indonesia staff)
 
·         Good understanding about nutrition concept and practices
·         Good facilitation skill
·         Good networking with government organization, non government organization, and others relevant institution
·         Good interpersonal skill and team work
·         Understand about human right and child right
·         Good adaptation and familiar and sensitive to local culture and custom
·         Good computer skill
·         Able to ride motor cycles
 
 
Demonstrates the attitudes of:
·         High integrity
·         Honest
·         Independent
 
Experience
 
·         Minimum 2 years experience in community development and managing Nutrition project related field will be an advantage
·         Experienced in representational roles
·         Experienced in promoting and developing learning in your area of expertise
Level of Contact with Children:
Low contact:     No contact or very low frequency of interaction
Mid contact:     Occasional interaction with children
High level:        Frequent interaction with children
