FREELANCE ENGLISH WRITER

Background
AIP-PRISMA (Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets in Agriculture) is a multi-year program that is part of the Indonesian Government’s mid-term strategy to encourage economic growth.
As the program starts to kick-in, AIP-PRISMA will need to produce a number of external written materials - both in English and Bahasa - to promote the program to its key stakeholders (Australian Government, Indonesian Government, and the private sector).
As part of the communication strategy, AIP-PRISMA will create informative, attractive and compelling stories that show our interventions, innovations, results, successes, and why we do and how we do the things we do. Focusing in more than a dozen commodities in three provinces, AIP-PRISMA hopes to deliver more than three dozen written material by the end of 2015.
Objectives
Produce high quality reading materials in Bahasa. The program hopes to, through these materials, effectively inform our targeted audiences about PRISMA, the work that we do, the approaches that we use, and the opportunities to work and partner with us.
Task/Work Description
AIP-PRISMA seeks the services of individual freelance English writers to produce written materials for the program’s communication products. The work will involve researching, writing, and editing all publication and promotional products such as, but not limited to:
·         Company profiles
·         Provincial profiles
·         ‘Why we are here’ stories
·         Intervention stories
·         Activity and program fact sheets
·         Human interest stories
·         Sector and sub-sector stories
·         Promotional products such as brochures and photo books.
