Yayasan Hidung Merah (www.rednosefoundation.org) is looking for Field Instructors/teachers to be part of the Applied Science and Visual Arts program. 

 

Position Available                    : Field Instructor /Teacher

Contract Date                           : 2 years contract with possibility of extension

Reporting Supervisor               : Education Manager

Requirements

-       Bachelor's degree in Science Education/Primary Education/Science

-       Fresh graduate are welcome to apply with min. GPA of 3.0

-       Previous teaching experience would be an advantage

-       Possess knowledge and skills of facilitating fun, engaging, and inquiry-based Science activities.

-       Understand and able to teach Science up to High School materials

-       Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially with children

-       Computer skills including the ability to operate Microsoft office and emails

-       Intermediate English speaking and written skills.

-       Have a passion in helping kids to love science and apply their knowledge for daily live

 

Job Description
Field Instructor is responsible for teaching particularly the Science and Art classes with the overview from the Education Manager

 

Duties

-             Responsible for preparing the day-to-day teaching plan and the program teaching material

-             Teach science to group of children age 10-17 years old in Cilincing and Bintaro Lama sites

-             Assist day to day duty of EM

-             Report and provide information to EM on weekly class progress

-             Provide information and updates to EM regarding students absence, student’s progress on the education

-             Collect and compile student reports and progress to EM

-             Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing rules and procedures
