Finance Officer

Finance Officer
Responsibilities:
 
·  Maintain impress system of Jakarta office petty cash and replenish petty cash upon approval. Ensure the petty cash transactions are supported by proper documents as required by CI policy and procedure.
·  Prepare financial vouchers, checks the completeness of supporting documents. All related documents (receipts, agreements/contracts, purchase order, etc.) should be checked carefully to ensure that only authorized and correct payment are made.  Including monthly regular fund transfer to the field offices
·         Facilitate approvals to the transactions as per CII Level of Authority.
·         Process the payment/disbursement of funds at the maximum of 2 (two) working days after the bill or request is received, ensure to follow the bank day arrangement.
·     Enter transactions according to account code into computerized finance system and GL, ensure proper donor coding and identifying errors.
·   Ensure the completeness of Jakarta office supporting documents attached to the voucher as well as the accuracy of computations in each record of transaction.
·         Assisting Finance Coordinator to prepare the monthly bank reconciliation and financial report.
·         Update and maintain orderly finance filing system
·         Assisting Finance Coordinator in audit requests as assigned.
·         Assisting Finance Manager in checking e-file of inventory
·         Communicating effectively with bank and third party to smooth payment process.
·         Assist Finance Coordinator to ensure the tax compliance requirements.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
·         University degree in Finance or Accounting;
·         Competency in Microsoft Office software;
·         Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking and understanding)
·         Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
·         Excellent interpersonal skills
·         2 years of progressively responsible accounting experience that includes some experience consolidating multiple entities
·         Knowledge of computerized accounting system is preferred
·         Prior USAID or NGO experience will be an added value.
·         Good Tax Knowledge
