Greenpeace opened our first office in Southeast Asia in 2000. In that time
we have led successful campaigns throughout the region, securing fresher
air, cleaner water and a healthier environment through changing industry
practices and government policies. Greenpeace actively campaigns across the
region to catalyze an energy revolution, protect ancient forests and our
oceans, create a toxics-free future and create a shift to sustainable
agriculture.

Greenpeace has three offices in Southeast Asia—in Thailand, Indonesia and
the Philippines and each office is composed of five departments: Campaigns,
Fundraising, Communications, Mass Mobilization and Organizational
Support. Currently,
Greenpeace has more than a 140 staff across the region, excluding the
direct dialogue fundraisers.

*THE POST: **FINANCE OFFICER*

*Position Summary*

The Finance Officer will take full responsibility to manage and maintain

payment and banking system to support for GPSA Indonesia office smooth
operations, adhere to GPSA financial SOP and at the same time ensuring of
transparency and good governance

*Key Duties *

1. To ensure all payment released has proper budget code and approval
and proper supporting document based on GPSEA Finance SOP
2. Responsible of Advances and subsequently follow up for settlement and
giving reminder
3. Responsible to manage banking transaction properly. This includes
responsible for maintain relationship with banking officer, make sure bank
requirement and speciment are met and proper devise (Online Banking) and
service are given, responsible of day to day transaction such as
cash/cheque payment to staff and supliers and bank transfer
4. Ensure sufficient balance on bank to support the payments and
informed about Fund Balance to Finance Manager
5. To prepare monthly financial report to ensure smooth operation :
Assets Report and Staff Advance Status and Aging to Finance Manager and
Cashbook and Reconciler Report to Accountant
6. Responsible of Temporary and Freelancer Income Tax 21 deduction and
report to be submited to Finance Manager for review and payment to the Tax
Office
7. Responsible of GPID Jakarta Office Petty Cash disbursement and
replenishment, to ensure accuracy and alignment with GPSEA Finance SOP
8. To ensure completeness of payment report such as cashbook and
reconciler provide to accountant for SUN data upload
9. To ensure proper filling system for all documents as recomended by
auditor

*Qualifications :*

Preferably Bachelor in Accounting and Finance

Accounting and Finance

Minimum 2 years experiences in Finance, Accounting and taxation.

Possess experience in Petty Cash and Advance reconciliation

*THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS POST*

*WORKING HOURS*

Normal hours of work for full time Employee will be forty (40) per week or
(5) days in a week, at 8 hours per day excluding an hour lunch break. This
will be from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 am to 6: 00 pm.
Ordinary hours of work may be varied as agreed between staff and the line
managers.

*LEAVE*

A permanent employee will be entitled to the following leaves:

Annual Leave: 20 days

Parental Leave: As per labor laws and Greenpeace policy

Sabbatical leave: 2 months paid leave after 5 years of continuous service

Compassionate leave: maximum of 5 days for the death of
significant others

*SALARY*

In determining salary offer for this position, Greenpeace applies its
Salary Grading Process, taking into consideration the job description and
applicant’s previous experience, and the organization’s salary grade.
