Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung based in Hamburg, Germany, is a Foundation that
designs and manages sustainable agricultural development projects worldwide.
With over twenty years of experience, Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung contributes to
improving the living conditions of smallholder coffee and cocoa farmers through
a business approach to sustainable development.
Financed by private and public donors, Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung will start
implementing 2 projects over a period of 5 years to promote sustainable
smallholder robusta coffee production in South Sumatera Province (Oku Selatan).
The project aims to provide farmer training on good agricultural practices,
product quality and marketing, farmer organizational development, etc.
Job Opportunity
The project is looking for a Monitoring
and Evaluation Coordinator who will be based in South Sumatra Province, in
charge of the following tasks:

To design and implement monitoring & evaluation systems to track
performance and achievement of project objectives based upon donor requirements.

Conduct periodic farmer surveys to track progress of project key
performance indicators.

To coordinate implementation of daily farmer record keeping.
-
To collect farmer production management records, check data quality and
enter the data into a database.

To analyse the farmer records annually or upon specific request.
-
To produce annual production management reports for farmer and farmer
groups (e.g. production costs, gross revenues, breakdown of labor time and
costs per farm activity, etc.)

To report weekly to the Project Manager.
Duration
of Assignment
Definite contract for 3 years with option for
prolongation.
Profile
Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in monitoring and evaluating
agricultural development projects at smallholder level, preferably with a focus
on organizational development or agriculture.
Required:
-
Indonesian candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in agricultural economis or a
related discipline (preferably related to agriculture).

Proficiency in standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook and
Project).

Self initiative and communication skills; accustomed and willing to work
under pressure.

Willingness to live and work in remote, rural areas.
Desired:

Proficiency in English (verbal and written); concise reporting skills.

Candidates from West Lampung or South Sumatra are preferred.
