THE POSITION
We are currently looking for a web developer to maintain our multilingual Drupal website (kopernik.info) and help to implement our digital marketing strategy.
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST HAVE:
- 4 years experience in PHP web development in a commercial context
- Thorough understanding of current standards for responsive websites, HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Demonstrable experience working on a complex site or web application
- Working knowledge of Linux & Apache
PREFERRED:
- Experience using Drupal CMS & Drush
- Experience using Bootstrap CSS framework
- Experience using GIT
- Familiarity with current SEO & digital marketing practices
- Photo enhancement & optimisation skills
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Working
with our committed communications team the web developer will conduct
lean marketing experiments - which might involve new or enhanced website
functionality, content changes, social media or email marketing - then
measure the impact against expected outcomes and use the data to inform
new digital communications strategies.
The web
developer will also be expected to maintain the website and server to
strict security and high accessibility standards - keeping the
webserver, security certificates, Drupal core and all modules up to date
as required.
