Yayasan Teman Baik is an organization that
works since 2013 in Jakarta with marginalized children and youth, their
families and communities, to protect them and help them become independent and
productive citizens of their country. Yayasan Teman Baik is a program from
Friends-International.
What
will you do?
As a Finance and Admin assistant you will work with the
entire team of Yayasan Teman Baik to ensure that the program is supported by
solid finance and administration procedures and operations.
Your
responsibilities will be to:
- Manage all aspects the monthly accounting cycle from paying monthly bills, data entry in QuickBooks accounting software, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Carry out cashier and banking duties, ensuring staff receive advances for expenses, that adequate supporting documents are filed for all expenses and transactions.
- Prepare monthly the payroll including the calculation and payment of salary tax, BPJS, Jamsostek and all benefits for staff members.
- Ensure compliance to the Yayasan Teman Baik Finance Manual and policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports as well as all financial reports required by donors.
- Organise, prepare and manage the annual financial audit
- Ensure all Donor, HR & Admin files are in good order and complete
- Ensure that Yayasan Teman Baik is complying with all legal requirements and that all paperwork is dealt with regularly and in time with relevant government offices.
- Provide support to team and assist where needed including the procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Overall responsibility for Asset and Inventory Register, ensuring all items are included properly, coded and physically labeled.
- Assist in all HR duties including recruitment, annual staff performance appraisals, staff contracts etc
We would like you to have:
- 5 years of directly relevant experience
- Strong accounting skills including the use of Quick Books or a similar accounting software
- Knowledge of the bureaucracy involved in running a Yayasan.
- Good skills on Microsoft Excel and Word
- A lot of autonomy and sense of responsibility, and dedication to supporting the growth of an exciting program!
