Human Resources Managament Coordinator (Code: HRM)

BRIEF
SOS Children’s Villages Indonesia is a part of SOS-Kinderdorf International which is an international umbrella organization of national associations. It is a non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational and non-profit social development organization, working exclusively in the public interest. Its objectives are:
-          To provide specialist care and support for orphaned and abandoned children through the SOS Children’s Villages.
-          To support children, young persons and families in need through the establishment of social centers, schools and vocational training centers.
-          To advocate and promote the rights of children throughout the world.
-          To work with international organizations, and promote world-wide understanding and exchange of knowledge on child care issues.
-          To serve as a model of long-term family based care.

POSITION PURPOSE:
  • He/She monitors the national facility staffing patterns and initiates proposals when necessary
  • He/She ensures, follows up and proposes adaptations and improvements of staff files filing system and that a filing system for the National Association is in place
  • He/She reviews, adapts, and improves Job Profiles and Job Descriptions in cooperation with job holders and their managers with the goal to make Job Profiles and Job Descriptions useful instruments for recruiting and/or performance appraisal
  • She/he ensures that a national recruitment procedure is in place, followed up and regularly reviewed.
  • He/She initiates and follows up that all new employees in the organisation receive a formal orientation programme throughout a developed “national orientation programme system”.
  • She/he monitors and further develops the Performance Management System as introduced in the organisation
  • He/She receives information on training/development needs of staff from Performance Appraisal Talks and either follows them up immediately or integrates them into a strategic plan, unless they are already contained there.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Human Resource Management, Humanities/Liberal Arts, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Psychology, Social Science/Sociology or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): excellent skill in staffing pattern-recruitment-placement, excellent knowledge in law of labour, excellent skill in job analysis and grading, have experience in organization development and change management, excellent communication skill for internal and external parties, have experience int training and development also assesment.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Supervisor / Coordinators specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Full-Time and Contract position(s) available.
