Reporting to:   Chief of Representative Office

Summary of Position:

The Account Payable is responsible to maintain financial, accounting and administrative services in order to support HKL project and subsequently JRO.

Manage HKL cash trackers programs, manage and monitor Bank Accounts, pay cash invoices, implement and maintain standard practices finance procedures, provides office support to other Departments as required, ensures a safe working environment is maintained at all times pursuant to Occupational, produce regular detailed reports as required, implement and maintain office budgets, ensure business continuity systems and procedures are in place to minimise risk of loss, under take any other duties directed by the HKL CoRO.

Within the context of this position is the requirement to perform other duties, as may be required, to ensure all mandated services are delivered as per the scope of the contract.


Core Duties and Responsibilities:
•       Implement financial policies and procedures,
•       Establish and maintain cash control,
•       Prepare and reconcile bank statements,
•       Provide a accounts payable function,
•       Provide an internal checker function for the programs accounts,
•       Assist in the maintenance and data accuracy with the Companies computerized accounting system, and
•       Maintain and safeguard all Project Financial records in accordance with company Archive policies.
Communication and Reporting Requirements :

•           Assist with preparation, maintaining and reporting to the client of project expenditure,
•           Provide accurate financial data on request from the Project Manager,
•           Assist the Finance Manager in the overall operation of the Company Finances,
•       Identify and report any noncompliance to company processes or procedures to the Project Manager,
•       Conform too and foster all company policies and procedures,
•            Inform Project Manager on any issues related to  any changes on financial and tax regulations

Desired Skills and Qualifications :

•       Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance,
•       Ability to use and manipulate data from both the MYOB and Microsoft Office suite,
•       Proven ability in a accounts payable role,
•       High level of customer service,
•       Proven ability to speak, understand and write in English,
•       Possess an understanding of Indonesian Tax regulations, and
•       Demonstrates knowledge on tax issues
