Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager, Jakarta Office

As a Senior Business Development Managerand Business Development Manager, you will be working directly 

with the Senior Business Manager in Jakarta as well as the directors leading the Innovative finance, Landscapes and Indonesian teams respectively at IDH. Your chief responsibility will be to build a concrete pipeline of production-protection projects involving partnerships with private sector supply chain companies, local communities (incl. smallholders) and public entities in West - Kalimantan. Your goal is to build a robust portfolio in co-designing and negotiating the structure of such projects with key external stakeholders. You will receive significant direction and strategic advise from the Innovative finance leadership within IDH, however will report directly to the Indonesian Country Director.

 

The key function of the innovative finance team is th project organization, capital rising and structuring of innovative finance projects alongside supply chain companies and financial institutions, as well as monitoring that relevant public goof impact is created. The team works with development, commercial and investment banks and impact investors as well as prominent supply chain companies - strategizing and then implementing innovative finance schemes to solve complex supply chain bottlenecks.

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will feed a strong pipeline of production-protection projects into the innovative finance team for them to raise the necessary capital and structure the finance to fund these projects. You will be the owner of the project on-the-ground in West-Kalimantan.
