 COORDINATOR

Job Summary:

Greenpeace needs to link and coordinate the tens thousands of volunteers we already have around South East Asia and vastly expand their number and geographic distribution, and innovate new ways of catalyzing the powerful chain reactions during which wider swaths of the public engage directly with our targets, and in which other actors in society, other organizations, and other activists stand up to be counted.

In this role you will contribute to the future Greenpeace vision of a Billion Acts of Courage by building a
powerful, connected and skilled network including volunteers, partnerships, strategic alliances and coalitions across South East Asia, which builds power and influences public discourse.

Responsibility of this position is also to make sure that offline mobilization is integrated early in campaign/ project plans, for supporting GPSEA’s campaign objectives, and country based staff (across SEA, including Myanmar and Malaysia) in recruitment, organizing and mobilizing supporters and strengthening/ supporting the movement which we share similar values with 

This position requires a flexible schedule, creativity, attention to detail, ability to communicate, engage and collaborate with a wide variety of audiences and partners across different cultures.

This is a full-time position based in Jakarta
