Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for
Consultant Village Facilitator, Pulang Pisau-Central Kalimantan based,
on our USAID LESTARI project. USAID’s LESTARI project supports the
Government of Indonesia to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and
conserve biodiversity in carbon rich and biologically
significant forest and mangrove ecosystems.
Job
Summary: S/he will oversee the Field School activity in various villages
in Pulang Pisau district. In designing and reviewing the villages
activities s/he has to do coordination with Community Organizer
Coordinator
of USAID LESTARI project. S/he also has to make bi-weekly reports to
the supervisor. In addition, s/he also will facilitating village meeting
including record the process and outcome; facilitating land use
mapping, discussion to generate village planning and
overseeing the village activities implementation; build and support a
positive image of USAID LESTARI project by adopting the values,
transparency, participative and process-based aspirations of the
majority in the village; actively interacting with the
villagers, especially the stakeholders: village leaders, community
leaders, village extension worker, etc.
Requirements
include minimum bachelor graduate (S1); preferably has 2 years’
experience working in the village; able to operate a program computer
(minimal Words, Excel and Power Point); able to drive a motorcycle
and have SIM C; has the ability to facilitate/mediate the conflicts;
has the ability to search, compile and analyze the data as needed; has
an understanding of the governance and management development in the
village (RPJMDes, MUSRENBANG process, etc.); has
an understanding of the peat land issues, conservation, forestry and
tenure; experience in public speaking; self-motivated and willing to
learn; has the ability to share knowledge and coordinate with other
parties; has the ability to carry out the work to
meet project time frame; willing to be placed in the village.
