Yayasan Sayang Tunas Cilik seek MEAL Officer SELARAS project based in Bandung

Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better.  We've begun to build a national organisation that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia namely Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik Tunas Cilik.  To this end, Yayasan has been designated as a “Prospect Member of Save the Children” which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Currently Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We work in eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:


MEAL OFFICER - SELARAS
1 position, based in Bandung
Code : MEALO-SELARAS


ROLE PURPOSE:
SELARAS is a project implemented at Bandung district in West Java. The Project Goal aims to contribute to reduction in new born and infant mortality in four sub-districts. Prematurity, low birth weight baby, asphyxia and Infection are three major causes of new born in Bandung District.
 The MEAL Officer will support the MEAL Coordinator as well as the SELARAS Project Manager  in all data collection, analysis, and learning activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish for all SELARAS project.
S/he will provide technical field support to the MEAL works , within the PDQ department.
The MEAL Officer will work closely with SELARAS teams to assess field conditions, support capacity building initiatives, and facilitate the collection of quality data under the supervision of the MEAL Coordinator. S/he may be assigned to focus on supporting one or more specific grants or projects within a program as assigned by the MEAL Coordinator
