the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to
build a national organisation that aims to be a strong, local, and
self-sustaining voice for children
in Indonesia namely Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik Tunas Cilik. To this
end, Yayasan has been designated as a “Prospect Member of Save the
Children” which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for
children in strategic middle income countries.
Currently Save the Children’s programs in
Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We work in
eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals,
and programming in Child Protection, Education,
Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian
Response. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
PROJECT ASSISTANT –
Play for Learning (Qualcomm)
1 position, based in
Belu

ROLE PURPOSE:
Save the Children has worked on
education programs in Belu District since 2011 working with Education
Department and stakeholders at the district level to increase access and
improve
quality of education particularly for children 4-6 years old.
Currently, Save the Children
are implementing one ECCD project in Belu District supporting children
in 20 ECCD centres and will start to implement Play for Learning models
in Belu District,
NTT funded by Qualcomm and Save the Children Hongkong
To
Implement the Play for Learning model in Belu district, there is a need
to have a Project Assistant.
Project Assistant will provide support to Project Officer and Belu
Field Coordinator in implementing play for learning activities in all
targeted ECCE centers in Belu, NTT. She/he will be responsible for
technical assistant related to day to day program implementation
activities, financial, administration and programmatic. She/ he will
report to Project Officer and be supported by finance and
administrations, including logistic team in Belu, NTT Office
